VISIONARY LEADERSHIP

From 2009-2011, as NABJ’s 18th president and CEO, Kathy led the association through an economic storm and record layoffs that left thousands of journalists unemployed. During her first year in office, Kathy recruited a team that helped NABJ emerge from a six-figure deficit, diversify its revenue stream, and create new programs for more than 3,000 members in the U.S. and abroad.
